Days come and go
Time goes by
I think of you and can only cry
Remembering you, and all we were
The memories now are just a blur.
My heart still aches for what we had
But everything now just makes me sad.
Your warm embrace, your tender kiss
The love we had is what I miss.
Your eyes would shine when you’d see me dance
Waiting patiently for my advance
I’d step to you with a lustful strut
And giggle when you’d pinch my butt
Our lips would lock with tender passion
Some might say it was, “love, old fashioned.”
Rainy nights we had together
We promised each other it would be forever.
Our intimacy was truly unmatched
Like raised from young that grew and hatched.
I peruse the pictures that we took
Just to remember how you look
But now I find myself in tears
Knowing it has been all these years.
I’ve changed so much to avoid my pain
But even til now, my heart is stained.
A frisky young girl who was swayed by lust
Never believing it would become a bust
But just like our nights of musical moans
The love you gave me was merely on loan.
I try to forget, I try to move on,
Remembering that now you’re merely gone
A kiss to never taste
A lust to never embrace
The eyes of love on your smiling face.
I sit here now, years ahead
Remembering that our love is truly dead.
I miss you still
You were my all
How could I rise from the enormous fall?
I’ll wipe my tears
Clean up my face
And grant the pleasure in love’s place.
So thinking back as I recall
How far did I truly fall?
