The Christmas Angel

As the clock struck twelve,

I received her visitation.

As the minutes past

Gently she put me at ease.

I found myself pouring out my heart,

My life and my world,

Poured out before her.

Then with her angelic poise

She swam through the pool of my life,

Bringing healing,

Wholeness and acceptance.

Kneeling before me,

She sucked away the poison of the past.

She carried me with her succulence

To another world,

Where peace and joy live hand in hand.

Carried to a place, where

Connection conquers all.

And ravaged and plundered

She became

My angel
