A young woman claims that a cannabis spray, worth £36 a bottle, has sent her libido through the roof since she began using it.
Grace Cole, 22, started using he spray to combat insomnia and anxiety.
But, her 22-year-old boyfriend Jacob Millington soon began to notice that the product sparked alternative effects.
Grace told The Sun : “Since I started taking the spray, I’ve felt much calmer and more relaxed, and that’s meant an improvement in the bedroom.
“I’m more in the mood for sex.
“I enjoy it more, rather than feeling like it’s a bit of a chore, and my boyfriend has definitely appreciated the difference.”
The young woman, from Bristol, sprays the Dr CBD Rx spray underneath her tongue three times daily.
The 500mg kit, which costs £36, contains cannabidiol, known to most as CBD – a legal ingredient derived from marijuana plants.
Grace claims that before using the spray she and partner Jacob would have sex around once a week, now she says they are intimate most days.
Pharmacist Tom Chapman, who invented the spray, isn’t surprised that the couple has seen such positive results.
He said: “It can have a real positive effect on the users libido.”
CBD-infused products have boomed in popularity in the last few years, with everything from CBD bath bombs and lip balms to tea and capsule supplements being readily available.
Meanwhile, in 2019, cannabis chewing gum launched in the UK for the first time.
