Women have been taking to Facebook to share the reasons why their marriages ended – and some of them are shocking.
While everybody enters a marriage believing it will be forever, sadly that’s not always the case.
Some couple’s break it off because things break down over time.
But, others can point to an exact moment when they knew it was the end of the road.
And, they shared them with the posters in the “That’s it, I’m MF spouse shaming” group, reports the Mirror.
Was there a moment when you knew your relationship was over? Let us know in the comments section…
It began when one woman posted a tweet by a bloke who said that he realised he didn’t love his wife anymore after he let her carry some heavy boxes upstairs without offering to help.
And many people responded with the moment they knew their marriage was over.
One woman said that she knew she wanted a divorce when her husband shushed her during labour.
She said: “When he told me to shush during labour.
“I had a sudden flash of clarity and I knew I would be raising this baby alone because I deserved better.
“Still took me a year to get to the breakup, but I never forgot that moment of certainty.”
Another said that the day she found out her husband had got her best friend of 25 years pregnant was when she knew.
While a third found out her hubby had been sleeping with his step-sister.
One woman added: “I knew it was over when he let me walk home for 30 minutes from the train station at 10.30pm and not come get me (the drive takes five minutes) because he didn’t feel like it.”
Yikes, not good!
